Two quite different jobs come out of Ipswich. One is apartment work around the Waterfront, where a block gives you repeated identical units, restricted access and a lift everyone is fighting over. Spraying suits that well. We prime a floor of units in a single visit, so plant and materials only go up once instead of trickling in behind a hand-painting crew over several weeks.

The other is estate development on the fringes and self-build plots out in the villages, from Kesgrave and Martlesham across to Woodbridge and Bramford. Self-builders normally reach us at the point they realise the decorating alone will add a fortnight they have not budgeted. A sprayed mist coat closes that gap and gives the final decorator a flatter, more even base than a rolled one.

Whichever it is, the sequence does not change. Drawings and programme first, then masking of floors, glazing and anything fitted, then even coats across walls and ceilings, then plots handed back sealed and ready for topcoats.
